Disclaimer: If any unlawful actions have occurred, law enforcement should be notified immediately, and a police report should be filed.
Step 1: Contact your Local Conduct Panel
If your scene has a local conduct panel, contact them first to discuss your ban or appeal. The local conduct panel may be able to resolve the issue without further escalation. When contacting the local conduct panel, be sure to include the following information:
Your Discord username
A summary of the situation
Any evidence you have to support your case
The local conduct panel will review your case and make a decision on whether to uphold or overturn the ban. If the local conduct panel upholds the ban, you may appeal the decision on the designated date which is at the discretion of the deciding panel.
Step 2: Speak to your Tournament Organizer Panel
If your scene does not have a local conduct panel, or if the local conduct panel is unable to resolve the issue, speak to your tournament organizer panel. The tournament organizer panel will review your case and make a decision on whether to uphold or overturn the ban. When speaking to the TO panel, be sure to include the following information:
Your Discord username
A summary of the situation
Any evidence you have to support your case
The tournament organizer panel will review your case and make a decision on whether to uphold or overturn the ban. If the tournament organizer panel upholds the ban, you may not appeal the decision to the CSRP. However, if you feel your ban/another ban was handled improperly, please contact the CSRP to request another party to review your case.
Step 3: Submit a Ticket with the CSRP
If the local TO panel is unequipped to handle your conduct case, you should put in a ticket with the CSRP. The CSRP is a team of dedicated people who are responsible for creating an independent panel to decide on individual cases. Please see the Ban/Appeal process section of this document for how these panels work/are selected. When submitting a ticket to the CSRP, be sure to include the following information:
Your discord username
A summary of the situation
Any evidence you have to support your case
The CSRP will typically respond to ban review or appeal tickets within 3-5 business days. An opinion will be published from both sides for public bans and private bans will have similar documentation that is not made public.
Additional Information:
When submitting a ban review or appeal, be sure to be respectful and professional in your communication with the conduct panel, tournament organizer panel, and CSRP. We are all volunteers and ask that you treat us with the same respect that you give to your peers.
The CSRP will typically respond to ban review or appeal tickets within 2-3 business days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your ban review or appeal, you may contact the CSRP for more information on how to proceed and resources to assist you.
