Incident reports of any kind must be filed through our ticketing system.
Our ticketing system via the official SSB Community Resource Project Discord server (discord.gg/v6HYxvYR5S) is our way of creating a seamless, streamlined system for contacting our staff for inquires regarding bans/ban appeal, joining our team, resource inquiry, event verifications, and more.
A detailed guide on how to use our ticketing system can be found below.
This is a step by step guide on how to use our fully integrated ticketing system in our Discord server for all of your general, player, and tournament organizer needs.
Upon joining our discord server, start by reading the information found in #read-me and #server-rules, then navigate to the #flairing channel.
Assign yourself the correct roles based off your role in the community and the region you currently reside in, as well as the proper pronouns you’d like to be addressed as.
For this guide we’ll be using the perspective of someone who has chosen the “Player” role in #flairing. Note that the process of using the ticket discord bot is the same for both Players and tournament organizer's
Upon choosing your corresponding roles, you should gain access to the “Submit a Ticket” category of channels featuring #helpdesk-general, and #helpdesk-player or #helpdesk-to depending on the role you chose earlier, if you chose both “Player” and “TO” you will see all 3 channels.
To start things off we will be using the tickets bot options in #helpdesk-general. Upon clicking the channel you will see multiple options regarding the bot, depending on what you are looking for
For this example, we will be using the “General Inquiry” option at the bottom of the page. Click “Open a ticket!” Under the corresponding box
You should notice that a ticket has been opened in the form of a chat channel under the category you just opened a ticket in
This is a private chat channel, that only the person that opened the ticket and the administrators of this discord server can see. You can now freely ask your question in the chat bar and an administrator will respond in a timely manner regarding your question, please be patient as there may be times where traffic is higher.
When your question has been answered and you have been taken care of, an administrator will close your ticket.
Some ticket options will ask you to provide information before sending a ticket so that administrators can better assist you
An example would be the “Player Ban Submission” ticket found in #helpdesk-player
Fill out each box carefully with the correct information, click submit and your ticket will be opened and pending response from an administrator.
When your ticket is closed and completed, the Tickets bot will send you a direct message on Discord and give you the option to provide feedback on how your ticket was handled. Please take the time to rate our service fairly and honestly, as it will help our support team to improve for the future
Congratulations! You now know how to use our Discord server’s ticketing system, we look forward to assisting you!
