Hello everyone!
This is the first set of patch notes for our project! Exciting, right? We're excited to share these, along with all of the organizers who have been giving us feedback on the backend. We want to say thank you to everyone who has helped us with feedback and has continued to give us feedback so that we can continue to roll out changes to further improve our resources for organizers and players alike.
With this in mind, those of us with the CSRP would like to introduce Version 1.1 of all our documents. The changes will be listed below.
General Changes/Discord Server Changes
"TO" changed to "Tournament Organizer" or "Organizer" for consistency
Added a "Meet The Team" page with all CSRP staff members
Added a tech support ticket for filing tech issues with our Discord server and website
Resources
Changed the format from a list to a database app with a functional map and interactive list
82 resources have been added
Section A - Public Code of Conduct
Added clause - Ban Evasion - Knowingly attending an event entering under a false tag to attempt to conceal an identity, whether it be yourself or another banned player.
Defamatory Behavior - Changed wording to "Creating or contributing to libelous or defamatory statements, or knowingly making a false claim that leads to any harmful actions. Note: This is in cases that have been proven by a relevant legal jurisdiction."
Staff Qualificatons
Change the page name to "Staff Vetting Process"
Made less repetitive and put in a summary saying the process is the same for both aspects of the project and we are able to add additional items as the process evolves
Ban And Appeal Process
The first sentence has been updated to include "for cases that are deferred to us as the project"
Q&A
Added the question "What happens if a banned player buys a spectator pass day of an event?" with the answer "We do not control or enforce spectator vetting as we believe that is on the organizer or venue to make that decision. However, if a banned player signs up for a pre-published bracket prior to the event and they are a part of Section A, we will recommend to the rankings to disqualify the event as a whole. If a banned player in Section A is seen competing at an event, please contact us by placing an incident ticket in our Discord server.
We would like to thank everyone for the support that they have given us up to this point while we worked to get this project up and running. As project developer notes come out, we will make announcements via our Discord server.
