We're excited to bring you Version 1.2 of the CSRP.
The past month has brought multiple changes to the site as a direct result of feedback we've received. In addition, we also saw an immediate disaster hit our community. Hurricane Helene made landfall this past weekend in the southern United States. News outlets are now showing videos of the catastrophic damage caused, on a scale well beyond expected disaster.
If you or those you know were impacted by the fallout of Helene, please visit the Disaster Assistance website for resources and support receiving direct aid.
In addition, the CSRP is exploring avenues on the best process for establishing a direct fundraising effort to support affected members of the community. We will be reaching out to community members with platforms to help support this effort, and if you are interested in working with us, feel free to reach out as well. If you are interested, please reach out to @katmcfurry, @emerae, @ritualcasts, @findCSRP, directly through X/Twitter or our Discord server. If you are an organizer or player in any affected area, we encourage that you reach out to your scene and verify your community's immediate safety, as well as identify those in need of assistance. Those who seek to vanquish adversity must stand together, and we encourage all who are able to extend a helping hand to each other in this trying time.
Restricted Player Register
Regarding the Restricted Player Register. We pushed the boundaries of transparency. We at the CSRP missed the mark, and would like to apologize to anyone impacted. In our efforts to listen to the community, we would like to share the following changes:
Removed photos due to inconsistency regarding accuracy of received information
If a change is implemented from public feedback, we will provide a platform/credit of origin, with additional information.
Note: all previous versions of our platform in terms of resources and website changes are archived for future referencing tasks. If the public would like us to make these archived versions or our website changelogs available to be viewed, please let us know in the corresponding tweet created regarding this update, or by putting in a general inquiry/feedback ticket via our Discord server.
The clauses cited section has been temporarily removed from individual ban entries until further notice.
To help with proper education regarding ban cases, the CSRP is compiling ban dossiers for each case. These documents will serve to archive public information about the case. These will include the case subject, deciding panel, and ultimate decision. Each Dossier will be reviewed by the original region's TOs, along with independent members of the broader community.
Public Code of Conduct
Revised Ban Degrees
Below you will find our newly revised Ban Degree/Tiering System. This is a living document which will continue to be adjusted as the environment within the community shifts over time.
A = Recommended For Global Ban
B = Recommended Ban From One Region/Current Region
C = Recommended Ban From Online Settings
D = Recommended For Temporary Suspension
We would like to thank @Xyless on Twitter for making this suggestion in a tweet Here. While reviewing feedback, we saw this system and felt it much easier to understand for the average player. We wanted to implement it to help make the ban process more accessible for those who don't take the time to read through the specifics detailed in the Code of Conduct.
The "Doxxing and Stalking" clause in the Code of Conduct has been split into two separate clauses for nuance.
We have added the following disclaimer to all clauses: we are not responsible for the deciding bans. We are only republishing recommendations based off bans that were decided on by outside parties and organizations.
Ban And Appeal Process
Disclaimer was added to the top of the page
If the CSRP is working on behalf of a banned community member, and they commit a potential offense in violation of our Code of Conduct, the CSRP will cease said work for the duration of the relevant region's investigation. Should the player not have a region, the CSRP reserves the right to halt communication for any amount of time. If the player is found to have committed a new offense, the will CSRP allow the community member to resume communication after a year, or half the ban length has passed, as is consistent with the standard appeals process.

We would like to thank @DeepSouthMelee for pointing out a flaw in our system here. We are addressing this immediately. There are now dedicated teams that are at certain events to help avoid this type of dodging.
As we look forward, the CSRP is hoping to add more to this roadmap. Please note these timeframe estimates are subject to change. All of the above projects are actively being developed, and the CSRP will share public insight as ready. We appreciate the community's patience while we do our due diligence to speak to organizers, events, players, and other members of the community in order to best understand the widest possible variety of perspectives and potential circumstances.
We would like to thank everyone who has provided their feedback and input regarding the CSRP. We take all feedback submitted to us incredibly seriously. We are willing to make changes, and hope to continue listening to the community that this project was created for.
